Framed Glass Bathroom Shower Door Design

Framed glass shower doors are easily recognized by the aluminum frame that holds the glass in place. This frame adds support and stability to the glass and is available in many colors and finishes. The glass used in framed enclosures is typically 5/32″ or 3/16″ thick. The glass itself is also available in different finishes so you can have an opaque or tinted glass door or shower enclosure if you don’t want clear glass. All of our shower doors and enclosures are made with custom safety glass so you will never have to worry about the glass shattering if it gets bumped. Even if it does crack, safety glass won’t shatter and leave shards all over your bathroom floor.

At Gary’s Quality Mirrors & Glass we can install completely new framed glass bathroom shower doors or keep the old frame but replace the glass, if the frame is still in good condition. However, we usually recommend you replace the frame at the same time as the glass to update the entire look and get a truly custom fit.
